Chi Chui

Red Rock Summer Camp Lead Coach

One of the most sought-out technical volleyball coaches in the Bay Area with 33 years of coaching experience, Coach Chi trains beginner level players through collegiate athletes.  He has trained over 1000 girls who were recruited to top universities, including  Stanford, USC, UCLA, Penn State, Yale, Harvard. 


Coach Chi emphasizes perfection in volleyball fundamentals and develops both the physical and mental aspects required to excel as an individual and as a team player.  He teaches strategies and tactics to more advanced players to give them the edge over other teams.

Robin John Rosales

Red Rock Summer Camp Lead Coach

Robin grew up in Redwood City and went to college at UCSB where he graduated with a BA in Political Science.  He is a video game industry veteran who has worked in the business development, sales, marketing and public relations fields for companies including PC Gamer, PlayStation Magazine, Ubisoft, the Microsoft Xbox launch and clients including Logitech, Electronic Arts and Namco.

Thoroughly passionate about volleyball, Robin has coached at various age levels from grade school to college teams. He coached high school volleyball at Woodside High School for five seasons where they had four CCS appearances and won back to back PAL Bay League titles. He coached at Sacred Heart Prep for two seasons where the JV team and Freshman teams had undefeated league seasons.  He has been coaching various levels at Castilleja in Palo Alto, CA for both the middle school and high school JV and Varsity teams for eight years and included the Varsity team winning the CCS Div V title in 2011.  He is currently the Varsity Head Coach at Priory where he helped guide the team to its first CCS playoff birth in five years.  Robin also helped coach at Notre Dame Namur University, a NCAA Div II team playing in the PacWest Conference.


In 2008, Robin's 13 Black Team earned a National bid for the Junior Olympics in Dallas, Texas. The following year in 2009, his 14 Black team earned the clubs first Open Division bid, held in Miami, Florida. They finished Top 20 in the nation and the top ranked 14s team in Northern California. His 15 Black team earned an Open Division bid in 2010. In 2011, his 14 Cardinal team became the clubs first two's team to garner a Junior National bid, held in Atlanta, GA. In 2012, he took the helm of 14 Cardinal again and earned a National bid at Junior Nationals. His team finished as the 4th ranked 14s team in NCVA, the highest ranking for any two's team in the entire region encompassing all age groups. In 2013, he coached 14 Black which earned a Junior National bid where they finished in 5th place in the NCVA, and 15 Black, which earned a Junior National Open bid and finished as the 18th top 15s team in the country. In 2014, he coached 15 Black which earned a bid to Junior Nationals. In 2015, Robin coached 13 Black and earned a Junior National bid as well as coaching ARC 16-1, which won every Premier League tourney and finished first place in overall rankings in the 16s NCVA Premier League. In 2016, 18 Showcase would double-qualify for Junior Nationals, earning a USA then National Bid. 13 Black would go on to earn Junior National Open bid. In 2017,14 Showcase, our two's team, would earn a Junior National USA bid and in 2019 and again in 2022, 14-Robin would earn a bid to Junior Nationals in Indianapolis. 


When Robin is not on a volleyball court, Robin and his wife Sally enjoy spending time together going to movies, hunting down and trying out various food trucks in the Bay Area as well as traveling to check out GIANT items and other roadside attractions that are Instagram worthy.


Katie Wilcox

Red Rock Summer Camp Lead Coach

Coach Katie was born and raised in the Bay Area and began playing volleyball at the age of 10. Katie started her club volleyball career at Red Rock Volleyball Club and played for Menlo-Atherton High School and then Foothill College.


In high school, Katie made the varsity team as a freshman and played as a middle and an opposite for all 4 years (2011-2015). Over the 4 years she went to M-A, her team earned 3 PAL titles and won 2 CCS championships, ending her senior year as a Division I NorCal finalist. She then went to Foothill College and played both indoor and beach volleyball under Coach Katy Ripp (2016-2018). She played all around as the team’s starting opposite hitter. As a captain her sophomore year, she led her team to first round playoffs and ended her final volleyball season making First Team All Conference.


After graduating, she transferred to UCLA for academics and graduated with honors and a BA in Psychology and a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology in June 2020.


Katie has coached for her local middle school (7th/8th grade), Sequoia High School (Varsity), Palo Alto Volleyball Club (14s, 16s), Alpha Prime Volleyball Club (15s), and Red Rock Volleyball Club (Indoor: 10s, 11s, 15s; Beach: 12s-18s).  During the 2022-2023 indoor season, her 15-1’s team earned their bid to Nationals by taking 1st place at the Pacific Northwest Qualifier. She also led her 11-1s team to Junior Nationals by earning a bid through the region.


Outside of volleyball, Katie loves playing with her 4 dogs, taking care of all her plants, and cooking.


Devin Derecho

Red Rock Summer Camp Lead Coach

Devin was born and raised in Santa Cruz and moved to San Jose last year to finish her Bachelors in Kinesiology.  Devin started playing indoor volleyball in middle school and fell in love with the sport.  She played indoor for her high school Pacific Collegiate School and  club volleyball for Main Beach Volleyball Club.  Throughout her volleyball career, Devin has played multiple positions and considers herself a utility player. Because of this, she strongly believes in developing well rounded volleyball players. 

In college, Devin initially played indoor volleyball for Cabrillo College as a setter and defensive specialist. She also played for the beach team at Cabrillo College. This past year Devin played indoor and was captain for San Jose States Club Volleyball team and plans to play beach volleyball for West Valley College in the spring. 


Devin has coached indoor volleyball for the past 7 years.  She has coached both boys and girls at the middle school, high school, and club level.  Previously she has coached club for Club Cruz Volleyball Club and Santa Cruz Beach Volleyball Club, and Mavericks Volleyball Club. 


In her free time, you can find Devin at the beach playing volleyball, coaching volleyball, or reading and relaxing in the sun. She also enjoys gardening and traveling and is planning on attending medical school with the goal of becoming a Doctor.


Taylor Ho

Red Rock Summer Camp Lead Coach

Taylor was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Taylor is entering his 10th year of coaching club volleyball in the NCVA region. He was instrumental in helping lead six teams to Girls Junior National Championships. In 2018-2019, he worked as an Assistant Coach for UC Davis Beach Volleyball. 


Taylor competed for Bay to Bay Volleyball Club and Pacific Rim Volleyball Academy, where he trained as both a Libero and Setter for 8 years. Throughout his club career, Taylor helped lead his teams to five top-5 finishes at Junior Nationals in the Open Division. From 2010-2012, he was a three-time Libero for USA Volleyball Indoor High Performance Youth National A1 Team. Taylor also earned a Bronze medal, competing in the 2013 USA Beach High Performance World Championships. During his club career, he has trained and represented USA Volleyball in international competitions.


During his junior year, Taylor developed and established the first boy's volleyball program at San Mateo High School


. He also received MVP for his high school team during his Junior and Senior year. 


Taylor played for OCC Men's Volleyball for two years, where he trained as a setter. He transferred to UC Davis in 2017, where he competed for their Men's Volleyball team as an Opposite and Setter. While at Davis, he was named MVP and NCCVL All Conference First team during his Junior and Senior year.


At Red Rock, Taylor is the Boys Club Director and Beach Director. He also works alongside Leadership as Manager of Operations for the club. 


While he's off the court, he enjoys spending his time eating, going to music festivals, and playing golf and tennis.

Quinn Holland

Red Rock Summer Camp Lead Coach

Quinn has been around volleyball since 2008.  Having grown up in the Bay Area, she started out playing club at the age of 10 and played for Vision Volleyball Club and Red Rock. During those years, she has medaled at Colorado Crossroads and earned bids to Nationals. Quinn was a member of the Varsity team at Aragon High School from 2013 to 2017.  Having participated in the NCVA herself, Holland brings knowledge of the game and is well educated in the club volleyball world that is here in the Bay Area


After graduating in 2017, she attended the University of Oregon where she graduated with degrees in Political Science, Sociology and Media Studies in June of 2021.  Since then she has returned to the Bay Area where she joined Menlo School serving as a head coach to the freshman and JV teams and being an assistant to varsity since the fall of 2021.  In her first year with the program, Holland assisted the varsity team to a 10-0 record, and a second place finish in the CCS Open Division Finals in 2021.  She was recently awarded the
Bagshaw Family Award for Coaching Excellence in 2023. 


Quinn has coached both boys and girls at Red Rock, including our boys 16-1 team who finished in the top 20 teams in the NCVA and had a 11th place finish at AAU Nationals in 2023.


You will never not find Quinn coaching.  She can be found at SportsHouse or Menlo, giving back to the sport that she is most passionate about.  For Holland, it is about giving the next generation a club experience surrounding fundamentals, team bonds, and developing a competitive outlook on the game.


Quinn resides in San Mateo and works as a Physical Educator to Menlo Middle School students and coaches various middle school sports teams and Girls Varsity Lacrosse as well. 

Youki Bradley

Red Rock Summer Camp Lead Coach

Youki Bradley was born in Los Angeles and raised in the Walnut Creek area. She played all four years of high school volleyball on the varsity team at Las Lomas High School. Her junior year of high school, her high school team won the North Coast Section and finished 4th in the state. Youki played 7 years of club volleyball in the NCVA, starting from the age of 11 years old. As a club player, her teams qualified for the Junior National Tournament during her last five seasons from her 14s to her final 18s season. 

 Youki has been a club coach since she was 18 years old. It became her second job once she graduated high school. She has coached both boys and girls volleyball for a number of high schools and clubs in the East Bay area. Four of the teams she has coached in the past 6 years have been Junior National Qualifying teams. 

Youki previously spent four years running the Girls and Boys volleyball program at Clayton Valley Charter High School as the Varsity Head Coach until the Spring of 2021. 

Most recently Youki finished her first successful girls season at Red Rock. This summer she was added as the assistant coach to Red Rock Boys 17-Taylor. This team went to Junior Nationals and brought home a bronze medal! She is looking forward to her upcoming successful season at Red Rock!


John Chamone

Red Rock Summer Camp Lead Coach

John Chamone is a former professional volleyball player, born in Miami Beach, FL, and raised in Brazil with a multicultural family. Chamone spent 10+ years as an athlete and 5+ years as a coach, providing a worldwide experience and overall understanding of the dynamics of the sport. His passion for volleyball and coaching facilitated the transition to Head Coach and Assistant Coach for Red Rock Volleyball Club.

Chamone began his volleyball career in South America and progressed to North America, Europe and the Mediterranean. His passion and dedication provided a unique opportunity to become part of the Pre-Olympic USA National Team in Rio 2016. Chamone also pursued an academic career at Grandview University and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2020. During college, he supported the Midwest region as a team captain, achieving first National Championship Title for the Men's Volleyball program. He concluded as 2x All-American, 2x All-Conference, Newcomer of the Year, Attacker of the Year and Player of the Year. Subsequently, Chamone focused on a high performance volleyball career in Europe and the Mediterranean, completing the leagues as Best Attacker and Best Scorer with unique volleyball and life experiences.

Throughout his career, he dedicated time as a coach beginning in the Fall of 2016 with the Women's Volleyball program for Grand View University. Here, he was an Assistant Coach as an undergraduate and a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men's Volleyball program in 2021. He supported the teams to achieve the 4x Conference Championship and part of 2x Sweet 16 for the National Championship. His time as a coach allowed him to absorb the nuances of the sport from a different perspective and develop his ability to train diverse teams and players. Chamone is dedicated to supporting players in reaching their greatest potential, while understanding the importance of balancing academic and athletic goals.


Daniel Farrell

Red Rock Summer Camp Lead Coach

Daniel was born in Illinois and raised in Thousand Oaks, California. He began playing volleyball seriously at Westlake High School, where he played on the varsity team for 3 years and coached the frosh/soph team for 2. Daniel went on to play D1 Men's Volleyball for Loyola University Chicago as a middle blocker, where he was named to the 2020 collegiate national team. He then transferred to the University of Southern California, where he finished his collegiate career. Daniel graduated from USC with a BA in Philosophy.

Daniel has over a year of experience teaching children aged anywhere from 5-16. Daniel also has a combined total of 4 years of coaching experience, split between coaching high school volleyball for Westlake High School, Loyola High School of Los Angeles, and PAC6 volleyball club.

Outside of volleyball, Daniel enjoys working on projects, exploring new places, and playing games with friends.
