FALL BALL
Get ready for an exciting season of Fall Ball. Whether you're gearing up for your school team or just looking to have fun and improve your volleyball skills, this clinic offers a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the game in a supportive and encouraging environment.
These sessions will be a combination of all-around technical skill development (passing, serving, defense, hitting, setting, etc.) and more competitive play opportunities in which players will be divided by level. Players may be moved between courts/teams as needed based on skill level, and could vary week to week according to their progress during the season. Fall Ball will be led by a variety of great Red Rock coaching staff.
Comprehensive Skill Development: Dive into all aspects of volleyball, from basic fundamentals like passing, setting, hitting, and serving to more advanced techniques that will help you excel on the court.
Position-Specific Training: Explore various positions (setter, hitter, blocker, libero) through specialized drills and activities designed to enhance your understanding and performance in each role.
Game Play and Strategy: Learn essential game strategies, teamwork dynamics, and how to apply your skills effectively in game situations, preparing you to compete confidently during Fall Ball season.
Fun and Engaging Activities: Enjoy a mix of skill-building drills, friendly competitions, and games that make learning volleyball both educational and enjoyable.
Physical Conditioning: Improve your fitness level with exercises tailored to volleyball players, focusing on agility, coordination, and strength to boost your performance on the court.
Sportsmanship and Team Spirit: Emphasize the values of sportsmanship, respect for teammates and opponents, and the importance of positive attitudes in fostering a supportive team environment.
Evaluation Period: Fall Ball spots are currently not all guaranteed. During the initial week of Fall Ball, we will conduct evaluations to ensure an equitable distribution of skill levels. This process aims to optimize training efficiency for all participants. We may ask players to move around courts and sessions to ensure a better fit, and refunds will be offered if the program is not suitable for any participant.
